    Position Summary:
    Has primary duty of managing the company's production department.  Customarily and regularly directs the work of at least 8 or more full time employees.  Supports the company's management purpose, mission, and values.  Benefits Included.

    Essential Job Duties:
    Leads and manages the company's Crew Leaders, Crews, and Technicians.  Has the authority and responsibility to hire, fire, allocate work, provide training, set and inspect performace expectatoions, evaluate performance, reward and recognize, dicipline and recommend wage changes, promotions, transfers or any other change of employee status.  His/her recommendations are given serious weight in each decision.

    Leads and manages the Production Coordinator to ensure that the warehouse is clean, and organized.  Ensures crews are scheduled efficiently and maxing out the company's production capabilities across all production crews and also that we have appropriate inventory levels for what is needed to deliver installations as promised to customers.

    Formulates strategies to infulence business direction.  Forcasts trends based on industry focus and general financial climate.  Initiates and implements plans to stay ahead of focus and general financial climate.  Initiates and implements plans to stay ahead of competitors, enhance efficiencies within the company and increase revenues.

    Visits job sites to recognize or redirect team behaviors, encourage continuous improvement, find ways to gain efficiencies, ensure that jobs are installed and completed according to quality standards, job specifications and safety guidelines, check on safety concerns and help troubleshoot issues.

    Prepares and presents installation, safety and motivational issues at production meetings and other events.

    Communicates with customers to overcome obstacles/problems on jobs and reach an acceptible solution.

    Ensures customers have a remarkable experience.

    Meets or exceeds budgeted installation volumes.

    Drives for the company in a safe manner.

    Regular, reliable on-site attendance.

    Job Requirements:
    Knowledge of construction or related trades.

    Knowledge of production management

    Ability and skill in operating equipoment and/or power tools preferred.

    Ability to operate a personal computer and programs.

    Ability to understand, speak, read and write in English.

    Skill in verbal communication and presentation.

    Ability to speak and understand Spanish is preferred.

    Education and Experience:
    Associates or bachelor's degree in construciton or business preferred.
    3+ years of experience as a Manager/Director in the construction trades; or,
    A combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
    A valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
